Aethalometer® AE33 software update (SW ver 1.5.0.0/1.7.0.0)

This update is related to new software (1.5.0.0 / 1.7.0.0) of the Aethalometer AE33.

WHAT’S NEW IN 1.5.0.0. / 1.7.0.0 SOFTWARE VERSION?

Established connection/compatibility with Gill Weather Sensors: GMX500, GMX300 and GMX200**

Minor SW bugs fixation

** If you plan to purchase any of above mentioned Gill sensors from Magee Scientific/Aerosol d.o.o., SW update on your AE33 instrument is required. Please follow User Manual instructions in Chapter 13 – SOFTWARE UPGRADE.

IMPORTANT: Only Gill sensors provided by Magee Scientific or Aerosol d.o.o. can be connected to Aethalometer® AE33.

The new software version (v 1.5.0.0) is compatible with all production series of Aethalometers with serial number starting S0, S1, … S7 (S0-S7).
The new software version (v 1.7.0.0) is compatible with production series of Aethalometers with serial number starting with S08.

The AE33 instrument must be running Firmware version 513 or greater. Firmware update to version 540 is needed only, if you intend to connect EXTERNAL HIGH ALTITUDE ‘BOOSTER’ PUMP to your AE33 instrument.
If your Aethalometer® has a serial number less than 90 or software version less than 1.172, please contact us for further information before updating.
