This key international gathering brings together leading experts to advance the science of nucleation and aerosol formation—an area of growing importance for air quality, public health, and climate research.
We’re proud to contribute to the conversation with the scientific work of Bálint Alföldy, PhD, who will explain why understanding particle nucleation in wood combustion emissions—from household appliances to wildfires—is crucial for advancing both environmental protection and scientific discovery. His research deepens our grasp of aerosol physics, the detection of secondary organic aerosols and their optical properties, while also contributing to cleaner energy solutions and public health policies.
