Earlier this year, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) revised the health-based annual standard for PM2.5 from 12 µg/m³ to 9 µg/m³. A recent study on the 15-year spatiotemporal trends of air pollutants across the USA, including carbon fractions measured by Aerosol Magee Scientific’s DRI model, highlights the targeted actions needed for further air quality improvements.

Stringent federal, state, and local measures on inorganics (sulfate, nitrates, and ammonium) have reduced PM2.5 over the past decades. However, further improvements may require targeting carbonaceous species.

For over four decades, Aerosol Magee Scientific’s field monitors and lab equipment have been trusted globally for monitoring carbonaceous aerosols. We are honored to be invited to the NAAMC conference in New Orleans, where we will conduct a training session on our equipment and applications.

Join us on the 12th of August 2024 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at NAAMC Monday training sessions to discuss how our equipment can support your monitoring needs.

To measure is to know.
