Aethalometer® AE33 software update (SW ver 1.4.9.0/1.6.9.0)

This update is related to new software (1.4.9.0 / 1.6.9.0) of the Aethalometer AE33.

WHAT’S NEW IN 1.4.9.0. / 1.6.9.0 SOFTWARE VERSION?

Improved SW performance, such as: CPU usage optimization, increased database capacity warning to 6M lines (combined Data, Log, ExtDevData), and an optimization of the report database warning**
Minor SW bugs fixation

** If you are running AE33 on a 1s time base and using many external devices, SW update on your instrument is highly recommended. Please follow User Manual instructions in Chapter 13 – SOFTWARE UPGRADE.

The new software version (v 1.4.9.0) is compatible with all production series of Aethalometers with serial number starting S0, S1, … S7 (S0-S7).
The new software version (v 1.6.9.0) is compatible with production series of Aethalometers with serial number starting with S08.

The instrument must be running Firmware version 513 or greater. We recommend updating the firmware to the current FW531, see User’s Group website for details.

If your Aethalometer has a serial number less than 90 or software version less than 1.172, please contact us for further information before updating.
